Description: This Steinway Studio Upright Piano , made in Spring of 1969, was caringly maintained and has light use as it was a second piano in this exclusive, executive home in Coxsackie, NY.  The first piano was a Steinway model D, 9' Concert Grand.   The owner was quite meticulous and the home is a designer showplace filled with rare antiques.  Of course, nothing need be said about this famous model which is in every well-known music school and conservatory in the country.  This piano plays better than it did new as it has received a high performance regulation and German voicing.  Most pre-owned Steinway 1098's that come on the market are usually worn too much to be of real value.  It is rare to find one in 'like new' condition as this one and the richness of the tone of this 1098 Studio Upright is superb!   RARE!
