Description: Famous
for their cabinets and being
the #1 American home piano, Wurlitzer has been the #1 selling American
piano through the late 80’s. This
piano, made in DeKalb, Illinois in
1980, is in immaculate
condition having had little use. It
was owned by single fastidious lady and was played very little and then
sold to a young couple whose son did not play for more than 2 months. It
has been completely reconditioned including action regulated and hammers
voiced. Most studio upright
pianos are made with very heavy cabinets to withstand institutional abuse.
However, Wurlitzer did
other manufacturers one better by making all the exposed edges out of
SOLID Oak instead of veneer and locked the case in two places.
This Studio features the famous Wurlitzer red oak back with 6
backposts (others are 5), duraphonic multi-radial soundboard, exclusive
action, hammers and design . This
is a rare find in an unused studio with a huge, rich tone and is like
new!!!
